Over Joanne McNally
Described by The Sunday Times as a "truly gifted stand-up,” Joanne has been taking Ireland’s comedy scene by storm with sold-out tours, laugh-out-loud chat show appearances, acclaimed newspaper columns, and a hit documentary.
She’s enjoyed back-to-back sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe with Wine Tamer and The Prosecco Express, both of which toured Ireland to packed houses. She also took to the stage at Dublin’s iconic 3Arena, sharing the spotlight with comedy heavyweights John Bishop, Michael McIntyre, and Dara Ó Briain.
Her critically acclaimed documentary, Baby Hater, which she created, wrote, and presented, was sold to 12 countries. Meanwhile, her first one-woman show, Bite Me—a brutally honest and darkly funny exploration of eating disorders—earned multiple award nominations at the Dublin Fringe Festival, including Best Performer, Best Production, and the First Fortnight Award. When she took Bite Me to the Vault Festival in 2019, The Guardian’s Lyn Gardner praised her as "hilarious and brutal.”
