Wanda Sykes is an Emmy-winning comedian, writer, actress, and producer who has been making audiences laugh for over two decades. Named one of Entertainment Weekly’s "25 Funniest People in America,” she’s known for her razor-sharp stand-up, fearless social commentary, and unforgettable performances on screen. From her acclaimed Netflix special Wanda Sykes: I’m an Entertainer to her hilarious role as Gladys Murphy in Crank Yankers, Wanda continues to prove why she’s a comedy powerhouse.

Beyond the stage, Wanda is a creative force in television, writing and starring in The Upshaws while also lending her talents to projects like History of the World, Part II and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. She’s even conquered the animated world, voicing characters in Ice Age and Over the Hedge. As if that weren’t enough, her production company, Push It Productions, has been behind some of the biggest comedy specials in recent years.

This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of phones, smart watches, and accessories will not be permitted in the performance space. Upon arrival at the venue, all phones, smart watches, and accessories will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space. Anyone seen using a device (phone, smart watch or accessories) during the performance will be escorted out of the venue.
